Passed away September 29, 2013 in Kennewick, WA. She was born November 11, 1920 to Richard and Fern Goodman. Maxine went to school in Coos County, Oregon and worked as a model for a small town department store in her late teen years. She then went on to New York City to work during WWII and met her first husband Richie McIntyre. Their son Bryan was born soon after Richie went off to war, to not return, and she then met the love of her life, Don Carlson. They married soon after and their daughter Lori was born. They lived in Coos County for a few more years and then moved off and on around Oregon to accommodate Don's work for Standard Oil. She lived a plentiful life with Don. Maxine loved to play bridge and golf and was a wonderful mother and grandmother and will be missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Don and daughter, Lori Carlson. Maxine is survived by her son, Bryan McIntyre; grandsons, Mark McIntyre and Travis and Scott Young and great-granddaughter, Ashley McIntyre. A Graveside Service will be held at 2 PM on Monday, October 7, 2013 at Sunset Memorial Gardens, followed by a reception at Memories at Sunset Event Center, both at 915 Bypass Highway, Richland, WA.
