Loveda A. McJilton

Loveda "Nadine" A. McJilton, 83, of Richland passed away on October 12, 2013 at Avalon Health and Rehabilitation in Pasco. She was born on September 19, 1930 in Waverly, OH to Volney and Ada Debord Adams.

Nadine moved to the tri cities in 1953 and began working as an executive secretary for the senior advisory group for Battelle. She retired around 1986.

Loveda loved playing pinochle and was a very active member of her sorority, Beta Sigma Phi. Nadine enjoyed attending a weekly bible study and was a longtime member of Central United Protestant Church in Richland.

Nadine also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends on her boat cruising up and down the Columbia and Yakima Rivers. She also had a passion for cooking and entertaining.

Her family will remember her as a very elegant, joyful and happy person.

She is survived by her son, Donald K. McJilton: daughter-in-law Mikki McJilton; granddaughters, Courtney Martin Roberts and Veronica Mark Scott; and great grandchildren, Marcus and McKensie Roberts and Harley Scott.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William and son, Mark.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 18, 2013 at 10:00am at Einan's Memories at Sunset Event Center 915 Bypass Hwy, Richland, WA 99352
