Charles C. "Curt" Hoffman, Sr., age 70, passed away in Richland, WA on November 1, 2013. Charles was born May 25, 1943 in Kellogg, Idaho. He lived in the Tri-Cities for 21 years.

Charles graduated from high school, went to work and then entered the U.S. Navy. He was honorably discharged from the Navy and retired from Hanford after many years as a material analyst with UNC Nuclear. Some of Charles' proudest family moments were marrying his childhood sweetheart, their children and finishing building his home. He was also a member of the Baptist church.

Charles is survived by his children, Charles Stephanie Hoffman, Jr., Tammy Tommy Valnueva Hoffman, John Hoffman and Monica Hoffman; sisters, Mary Red Stalsworth, Geraldine Hoffman, Hazel Hoffman, and Dorothy Hoffman; brothers, Earnie Darlene Hoffman and Lee Carol Hoffman; grandchildren, Joe Hoffman, Curtis Hoffman, Kaleana Hoffman, Dustin Hoffman, Mercedes Barrett, Lexus Hoffman, and Tommy Hoffman as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his dad, Roy J. Hoffman; mom, Winona Hoffman; brothers, Art Hoffman, Bill Hoffman and Mike Hoffman and numerous other relatives.
