Donna Marie Henke-Huff, 58, of Kennewick, WA earned her angel wings on November 7th, 2013 after a courageous 1 ½ year battle with cancer.

Donna was born on September 18th, 1955 in Liberia, West Africa to Elmer and Jean Conrad. At age 9 the family moved to Milwaukie, Oregon where she attended school. In 1980 she married Charles Peter Henke II. Charlie and Donna were blessed with three sons; Jake, Chuck, and Chris. The family moved throughout Oregon, Washington, and Idaho before settling in Kennewick permanently as Charlie pursued his career with Lamb Weston. Charlie and Donna enjoyed many adventures together, especially work trips with friends. Donna had many great stories of trips they took to Canada, as well as trips to Lake Roosevelt on a houseboat with many other couples. She was truly the life of the party! After the death of Charlie in 1994, Donna began working at Lamb Weston in Richland as a Lab Technician. She made many lifelong friendships and enjoyed playing softball and bowling with her co-workers. In 1996 she was blessed to meet her second soul mate, Steve Huff. They were married on Makena Beach, Maui on April 4th, 2002. Donna and Steve enjoyed many wonderful vacations with family and friends and turned their home into a tropical oasis that everyone loved to visit. She always welcomed and loved entertaining her three boys' friends and most of the time would out-party the younger crowd! She was her boys' biggest fan at their sporting events and that enthusiasm carried over to watching her grandchildren participating in sports as well.

Donna leaves behind her partner and best friend Steve, her sons Jake Gretchen, Chuck Tracy, and Chris. Three grandchildren who were the light of "Gramma's" life; Easton, Cadence, and Madden. Sisters: Annie Conrad and Carole DeCourcey; Mother and Father-in-law: Marty and Lyle Kramer; Step-Mother: Margaret Conrad; Sisters-in-law: Margaret Henke-Moss and Laurie Mathers-Block; Brothers-in-law: Louis and Bill Huff and Monte Taylor; Uncle Lou and Aunt Esther; Nieces and Nephews: Emmy Lou, Austin, Erika, Jessie, Justin, James, Denver, Mandy, Savannah, Cheyenne, Ben and Jessie Clark; her best friend of 30 years Cris Ruff; her four-legged "babies" Duke, Zoey and Baxter, and many other lifelong friends who became a part of her family.

Donna will forever be missed by all of us. We will miss her quick wit, her funny sarcastic sense of humor, and her beautiful bright blue eyes. We look forward to feeling her spirit as we continue to travel to her favorite tropical vacation spots. Donna- we will never look at a beautiful Hawaiian sunset or rainbow without thinking of you and wishing you were right there with us. We rejoice that we will be reunited with you again someday. Until then, save us a spot on that 'white sandy beach of Hawaii'… Aloha for now.

We would like to thank Donna's caregiver and guardian angel, her mother-in-law Marty for her love and care over the past 1 ½ years. Her sister and best friend Annie has been a tremendous support to all of us. The team from Lower Valley Hospice has helped our family so much, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Lastly, our family and friends who have shown so much support and compassion, we love and appreciate you all so much.

In lieu of flowers we would ask that you participate in a "random act of kindness", or "pay it forward" in honor of Donna, or send a donation in Donna's name in care of Lower Valley Hospice.

A 'tropical themed' celebration of Donna's life will take place at Sunset Memorial Gardens Event Center at Einan's Funeral Home in Richland, on November 15th at 1 p.m. Please dress casually or in your best tropical attire.
