Dorothy Louise Hopkins Meicenheimer 1916-2013

Dorothy was born in Richmond, MO. She moved to Richland in 1943, with her first husband Wilbur Hopkins and their son Blair. They moved to Idaho in 1948 where her first husband died in 1950. Dorothy moved back to Richland and in 1952 married Olin Meicenheimer, father of four. Olin passed away in 1990.

Dorothy has lived in Luther Senior Center, Richland Gardens, and lastly Life Care Center of Richland. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and enjoyed their weekly visits with her.

She was preceded in death by her two husbands, sons, Wilmer and Verlin Meicenheimer; daughter Delores Prichard and her husband Earl and their son Keith Prichard.

Dorothy is survived by her son Blair Hopkins and his wife Carol; daughter, Darlene McKnight of Texas; grandsons Earl Prichard and his wife Debbi; Rusty Meicenheimer; and Tracy Hopkins and his wife Margaret and granddaughter, Debbie Bervan. She is also survived by her great grandchildren as well as great-great grandchildren.

She enjoyed living at Luther Senior Center and all the friends she made there. The care she got at Richland Gardens and the excellent care at Life Care Center of Richland are greatly appreciated by the family.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at 2:00pm at Sunset Memorial Gardens Event Center, 915 By-Pass Hwy in Richland.
