Carl Walter Robb

December 10, 1994 - February 20, 2014

In the early morning hours of February 20th Carl left this world much too soon.

Carl was born in Kennewick and spent his life in Benton City, WA.

From the time he could walk he loved sports, fishing and the outdoors. He started playing baseball at an early age and he was a natural; the kid could pitch and he did! From elementary through high school and All Stars he was a great team player that always played hard and gave his best. In high school he also discovered wrestling and the thrill of football. Within weeks of starting the game he was a member of the varsity KI-BE High School football team. He started Boy Scouts as a Cub and went all the way to become an Eagle Scout. When he wasn't in school or on a playing field he was fishing and was known for catching the BIG ONES!

In his short life he accomplished a great deal; high school graduate on the honor roll, multiple baseball play offs, All Star baseball, National Eagle Scout recipient. He was a beloved member of the LDS church. Everyone that knew Carl, or met him thought he was an amazing person. Carl was smart, funny; sensitive, caring and it always made people feel good just to be around him. He affected more people than he ever realized and will be missed by ALL.

Carl was survived by Mother, Jennifer Robb; Grandmother, Elsa Moore; Aunts and Uncles; Johanna and Dan Mixon, Jeff and Molly Moore, Ron and Jean Robb and Cousin Melissa Moore; proceeded in death by father Richard W. Robb and Grandfather Donald Moore.

A Memorial will be held at 1 pm Saturday March 1 at the L.D.S Church located at 1101 Fay Ave, Benton City, WA. There will be a sharing time after the service.

A memorial fund has been set up at US Bank. Contributions can be made to the Carl Robb Memorial.

  • I am deeply saddened to hear of Carl passing…. I was so lucky to have ran into him at a company picnic with a friend of his and he won the “Watermelon Eating Contest” 15yrs. I got to have a short conversation with him and told him I would always be ready to tell him more about his father, Richard. He was also my dad growing up and when Jennifer and Dad had Carl…I know he was the love of their life…he was so kind, handsome and really a sweet young man. I love hearing about his admirable accomplishments. God Bless and my Sympathies to Jennifer and family,

  • I am so sad to hear about Carl’s passing. I didn’t really know him personally, but through the admiration and love in his mother’s words as she encouraged him to finish up getting his Eagle Scout rank, I felt like I knew him and I too rooted for him to reach that goal in Scouting. I am so sorry for the familiy’s heartache and loss. May Carl rest in peace.
