She is survived by her loving partner in life Fred I. Jimenez, daughters Ella Jim Fly, Paula Hodges and Fayla Howard, sons Mark Maria Mickens and Fred V. Jimenez, and step-son David Mickens; grandchildren Colin and Jason Fly, Stephanie and Zachary Howard, Miranda and Michaela Mickens, Megan, Melanie and Rachel Hodge, Nicholas and Noah Jimenez.

After a short battle with illness, Pearl passed away while surrounded by family at Kadlec Medical Center. She had a zest for life and lived it to the fullest in every aspect. She was born in Seattle, WA and lived in many areas of Washington and Oregon throughout her life. In 1956 Pearl was crowned Miss Seattle & Miss Flying Tiger in the same year which she was very proud of. In 1973 Pearl achieved one of her proudest possessions when she received her private pilot's license and enjoyed flying many different types of aircraft for many years. Later in life, Pearl worked as a cook on a crab boat and then on a fish processor in Alaska and enjoyed it very much. Her main passion in life though throughout her years was photography; she enjoyed it immensely and was very proud to have her pictures published in many photography magazines and publications.
