Betty Lou Starr, 82, of Richland passed away on March 21, 2014 Creative Care in Richland. She was born on September 1, 1931 in Galina, KS to Frank and Carrie Hildebrand.

Betty lived in the Tri-city area for 12 years and was a retired bank teller. Some of her proudest moments were when her grandchildren were born and her great grandchildren. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Richland.

Betty is survived by her son, Forrest Gibson and wife Dawn; son, Steve Gibson and wife Martha of Wilcox, AZ; son, Vern Johnson and wife Lisa of Lompoc, CA; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice Starr in 1984.

There will be a private family inurnment at a later date.
