What a great guy that words cannot describe. I remember the day, a Sunday, that he took me to Gun Site Lodge way outside of Anchorage. I can’t forget the many good times we had together and the education he shared with the New Yorker about the Anchorage/Japanese culture.
A nicer guy you’ll never find. George was always fun to be around. May he rest in peace. He will be missed.

I was very sorry to hear about George.
I always like him, he always made me laugh.
Haven’t seen him in many years, but I thought of him often. He will be missed I’m sure by all who had known him.
Rest in peace George.
So sorry to hear of his passing. I met George in 1979 in Anchorage Alaska. One of the nicest men you could ever know. I stayed in touch with him until a few years ago when I lost my address book. He is a man I will cherish always. My prayers to him and his family.
WE LOVE YOU GEORGE
REST IN PEACE MY FRIEND
