A much-loved husband, father, grandfather and friend, Lowell Hatten, 80, of West Richland, Washington, passed away peacefully at Swedish Medical Center Seattle on April 27, 2014 with his family present. He had courageously fought and lost against Mesothelioma.

Lowell was born October 5, 1933 in Yakima, Washington and resided in West Richland, Washington and worked as an Instrument & Controls Foreman at Energy Northwest.

His passing has left a tremendous void in our lives and which can only be filled with his legacy of memories that we are eternally gratefully to have shared with him.

Lowell is survived by his wife of 60 years, Aiko Koyama Hatten of West Richland, son Richard Hatten Connie, daughter Susan Hatten McPartland Stan, aunt Pearl Hatten, grandson Ryan Hatten Jennifer and Logan , grandson Justin Hatten, extended family the Vachon's, Rob Landerholm, and Alvin the Schnauzer. Lowell was preceded in death by daughter Joyce Jasper.
