Stephen Stanley Young, known as Steve by his family and friends, passed away September 26, 2014 at Kadlec Medical Center in Richland, WA. He was 60 years old.

Stephen was born December 4, 1953 in Toppenish, WA to Harland and Marilyn Young. He was raised in Wapato, WA and was the oldest of 3 children.

At the age of 13, Stephen started working in the family business until his mid 20's when he moved to the Tri-Cities. He was hired on at the Hanford Site as a Lube & Tire Technician and worked there for close to 30 years. He enjoyed fishing trips and family barbeques.

Stephen is preceded in death by his father Harland. He is survived by mother Marilyn; wife Barbara; sister Margina (Ann); brother Scott (Sue); son J.R. Frederick (Tanya); son Mike Frederick (Elizabeth); and Daughter Judi Frederick. Stephen also leaves behind 7 grandchildren: David (6); Ally (5); Morgan (4); Jayden (3); Shelden (3); Jaxon (9 m); and Taylor who is due on 12/25. He was a beloved son, brother, father, and grandfather.
