Thelma Pearl Judy of Kennewick, WA, passed away peacefully 9/18/2014 at the age of 96 in the Hospice House at the Tri-City Chaplaincy surrounded by her children.

Thelma was born to Dana and Edna Lemley March 24, 1918 and was raised on a farm in Mt. Morris, Pennsylvania PA. She graduated high school from Waynesburg, PA in 1938. She married her first husband Joe Long and had 4 children Dana, Joseph, Daniel and Samuel. In the mid 1940's they relocated to Tri-Cities, Washington WA. Thelma later married Guy W. Judy and had 5 children Linda, Teresa, William, Jacqueline and Loran.

Thelma worked for General Electric at the Hanford site in Richland, WA and later became self employed as a housekeeper so she was able to work and be a full-time mother. Thelma grew up in the church playing piano, violin and singing and performed in the Richland Symphony. Thelma was a member of First Baptist Church, Hat Club and a Mall Walker. She loved to bake, cook, shop with the girls and travel. She traveled places from Alaska, Florida, Mexico, Hawaii and areas in between. She spent her last few years comfortably in Kennewick, WA with her youngest son.

Thelma was preceded in death by her husband, Guy W. Judy and grandson Dane. She is survived by her children and grandchildren, Mark, Michelle, Garrett, Angie, Arron, Teresa, Shane, Danielle, Tyler, Molly, Vincent, Channel and Sterling and several great-grandchildren.

At Thelma's request there will be no viewing. A memorial service will be held 3pm on October 24, 2014 at Events at Sunset, 915 Bypass Hwy, Richland, WA 99352.
