Robert Michael DePalo
Robert (Bobby) Michael DePalo, Jr., passed away from natural causes on October 1, 2014. He was 56 years old.
Bobby was born in White Plains, New York on September 5, 1958. His family moved to Kennewick when Bobby was eight years old. In Washington, he attended elementary school in Richland, as well as, Carmichael Junior High School and Columbia High School (now Richland High). When he was a teenager, he moved back to New York and attended Westlake High School. During and after High School, he worked in the family's restaurant, the very popular DePalo's Dugout. Bobby loved lifting weights and staying fit so much that he entered and won The Mr. Westchester County Body Building contest and was invited to enter the Mr. USA contest. He always strived to improve himself after high school; He graduated from the New York Department of Corrections and became a corrections officer. After moving back to the Tri-Cities, he became a real estate agent with Century 21 and eventually at Selective Real Estate with his older brother Fred Giacci and brother-in-law Jake Roth.
Bobby was preceded in death by his son, Robert (RJ) DePalo, his mother Ardala Costello and his step-father, Vincent Costello.
Bobby loved his children and family so much! He is survived by his father, Robert (Bob) DePalo and step-mother Elizabeth DePalo, both of Venice Beach, Florida.
He is also survived by his son Ryan DePalo, his daughters Renee DePalo Feingold and Bria DePalo; Also, sisters Laura Giacci Roth and Ardala DePalo, his brothers, Fred Giacci and Billy DePalo. He is survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
All who knew him loved him for those bright blue eyes, infectious personality, warmth, sincerity and genuine kind nature.
A private family service will be held at a later date in Rockaway Beach, Oregon with a public reception in the spring.
