Jo Ann Olsen went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, December 17^th.  Joni Olsen was born August 28, 1941 and raised in Kansas City, Missouri.  Joni accepted the Lord when she was 8 yrs. old and she has loved Him ever since.  She graduated from East High in 1960.  She married Larry Olsen June 3, 1960.  They moved to Richland, WA in 1966 to house a new laboratory, the Donald W. Douglas Laboratories. 

Joni was preceded in death by her parents, William and Evelyn Clevenger and sister Judy.  She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Larry Olsen, her three sons, David, Daniel (Kim) and Duane (Beth), 5 grandchildren: Rachel, Jessica, Noah, Mark and Natalie and her sister, Mary Koch. 

Joni was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She also found time to work as a florist and as an assistant to Fuller Seminary.  Joni loved her grandchildren, and took care of them whenever she had the opportunity.   And she was their biggest fan when she was able to see one of their athletic events.

In Genesis 2 we are told God created women from a rib out of Adams side.  In so many ways this scripture signifies how Joni and Larry walked through life, Joni at Larry's side walking together as one.  Joni was a gift God provided to Larry and together they formed a marriage that was a light to all.  For over 54 years they were married and their love is endless, much like the rings on their fingers there is no end or beginning only a continuous circle.   Larry knows Joni is in a better place with our Father in Heaven.
