Steven P. Roblyer, 

Steven Paul Roblyer, 71, was born October 13, 1943 in Eugene, Oregon to Elmer and Pearl Roblyer. He passed away December 4, 2014 at the University of Washington Medical Center from complications of his lung transplant. Family was present. 

He earned his Bachelor of Science in Physics at the University of Oregon in 1965. While there he met and married Jean Jensen, June 10, 1967. 

Steve finished his Masters in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Washington in 1972. He worked at the Hanford Reservation from 1966-2002 when he retired as a Senior Nuclear Engineer. His mind was always overflowing with inventive ideas and obtained two patents.

Steve was active in the church doing genealogy work, serving a mission at the Local Bishops’ storehouse, playing the violin, and singing in the choir. He loves Jesus and his heavenly Father.

He grew up hunting and fishing with his dad and brothers, (Our children were practically raised on venison), and he carried this love to his children and grandchildren. He spent twenty years teaching Hunters’ Education to adults and youth. He and Jean loved camping on their boat for a week for numerous years on the western Canadian coast with his brother and dad, catching halibut and salmon. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers-Richard and David, and son David Joel. He is survived by his wife, Jean, siblings-n-law, Irma, Teri/Jim Brosh; children-Carol, Paul, Julie (Jason), and Michelle (David), and eight grandchildren. 

His memorial service will be held Saturday, December 13, at 10:30, (viewing at 9:00) at the Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints located at 1321 Jadwin, Richland.
