We have enjoyed many wonderful conversations, canning and cooking recipes was normally the topic. Remembering when he wanted to make pumpkin pie using fresh pie pumpkins, which we had some extra’s. Next time we talked, he told the story of how many blisters he had from trying to peel uncooked
pumpkins. We all laughed very hard and even harder after telling him they needed to be roasted first.
A very special friend will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers for the family.
Karen and family, We are so sorry to lose such a special friend.
Bert was a great co-worker and friend for a lot of years and he provided me with many good memories. Bert was one of the most dependable, witty and likeable friends I have ever known. Karen may God’s strength be with you and your Family and Peace be with you my Brother Bert.
