Jacob Ian Smith returned to his Heavenly Father on February 9, 2015.  Jake was born in Bellingham, Washington on May 29, 1997 to Scott and Kathy Smith.  Jake and his family moved to West Richland when he was 12 years old and he was a senior at Hanford High School.

Jake's greatest talent was making those around him smile, laugh and feel good about themselves.  A fearless competitor, he enjoyed playing football and baseball and participated in track and tennis.  Jake was a member of the Paradise Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

He is survived by his parents, siblings Katie Stoker, Michael, Spencer, Olivia, Sara and Rian and his favorite brother-in-law Jake Stoker, as well as his niece Kallie, nephew Teagen, and many cousins and friends who loved him dearly.

Memorial services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 3701 Watkins Way, West Richland at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 14.

Jake, we love you and miss you more than words can say.  We pray for your continued happiness and growth as you continue on your eternal path.
