Richard (Leroy) Woods, 84, passed away Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Kadlec Regional Medical Center. He was born on December 28, 1930 in Des Moines, Iowa.

Richard was in the Airforce and served for 5 years during the Korean War. He lived in the area for 31 years and worked in Research and Development. Richard was a member of the Church of Christ in Kennewick.

He is survived by: Queca (wife), Tony (son), Denise (daughter), Phyllis (sister) and two grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at the Kennewick Church of Christ, 3926 West Kennewick Avenue, Kennewick, WA 99336 on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at 11:00am  with a Potluck to follow (please bring a dish to share).

Rick was a beautiful man and loved the Tri -Cities. He was a bomber at Richland High (Col. High at the time) and brought his family back here to live as an adult.  He was a selfless man that did everything for his wife and kids.  He has left this world to go to a better one.
