Shirley Mae (Thomas) Hendrickson, 76, of Richland, passed away March 6, 2015 at Kadlec Regional Medical Center.

She was born December 26, 1938 to Andy and Alice Thomas, in St. Helens OR. Shirley grew up on the family farm in Goble Oregon where she loved fishing with her father.

She married Douglas B Mackey and moved to Richland in 1958 where they settle and raised their three children. She was a supervisor for Pinkerton Security and received many awards for excellent service.

Shirley enjoyed being a member of the First Baptist Church, genealogy and watching her movies. She always kept us warm with her hand knitted and crochet afghans, socks and hats she made for family and friends.

Shirley is survived by her daughter, Robin Kesler; son, Chris Mackey (Elody); son, Mark Mackey; grandchildren, Amy Mackey, Alice Mackey, Kevin Kunkler, Kyle Kunkler (Jillian), Katrina Kesler, Brandy Kesler and Joshua Mackey. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Alexis, Daisy, Dillon and Sabrina.

Shirley was preceded in death by Andrew B Thomas (Father), Alice (Whaley) Thomas (Mother), Carolyn Seaman (Sister), Lillian (Whaley) Mars (Aunt) and Mathew Kesler (Grandson). 

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at 10:00am at the First Baptist Church of Richland, 1107 Wright St Richland, WA. In lieu of flower the family request that donations be made to The Tri-Cities Chaplaincy, 1480 Fowler St. Richland WA.
