The family of Jeanene Kay Milicia mourns the loss of their beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Jeanene, 76, passed away on Saturday July 18, 2015 after a battle with renal cancer.

She was born in Okanogan, WA on May 24, 1939 and was the youngest of seven children born to Clarence Albert (Cal) DeWitt and Bernice Elizabeth (Hagy) DeWitt of Conconully, WA. Her parents and siblings all preceded her in death.

Jeanene met the love of her life Donald H. Milicia through a mutual friend in Omak, WA. They were married on June 7, 1958 at Coulee Dam, WA. Jeanene and Don had two sons, Carl Anthony and Harold Lynn, the youngest who preceded her in death on September 21, 1996.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years Donald, son Carl and his wife Renee of Seal Rocks, OR; Lisa Esselman, granddaughter Mariah L. Esselman and great grandson Zeak Esselman of Newport, OR and many nieces and nephews.

Jeanene loved babies and loved to hold and cuddle them, also animals and always cats and dogs. As a teenager she rode her horse “Queen” around the Conconully area. She painted pictures of still objects and had an interest in jewelry. On the go in the RV with Don, granddaughter Mariah and the dogs was one of her favorites. Bowling was another pastime she enjoyed and joined several Tri-Cities leagues over the years.

Jeanene will be sorely missed by all who knew her. So long babe!

Inurnment is at Sunset Gardens, Love and Rest memorial niches in Richland, WA.

A celebration of Jeanene’s life will be at a later date.
