Charlie is preceded in death by his parents, Celestino and Mariana Rodriguez; his brother, Ruben Rodriguez; and his grandson, Joseph Hernandez. Charlie is survived by his wife of 67 years, Candida Rodriguez; brother, Celestino (Mary) Rodriguez; and sister, Eduvijes/Vickie Sanchez. He is also survived by his son, Rudy (Karen) Rodriguez; his daughter, Elena Hernandez; three grandchildren, Russell (Liz) Rodriguez, Jennifer (Erik) Knudson, and Cara Hernandez; three great-grandchildren, Elijah and Vincent Rodriguez and Casey Knudson; nieces, nephews, and extended family. We will miss Charlie very much and will never forget the wonderful memories we had with him and the never-ending love he had for us.

 The family would like to express their gratitude for the care Charlie received over the last two years. He was cared for by Brookdale Meadow Springs, Avalon Skilled Nursing, and in his final days he received compassionate care from Kadlec and The Hospice House; thank you for your kindness.

In lieu of flowers, we invite you to make donations in Charlie’s name to The Hospice House. A graveside service will be held at Sunset Gardens, Thursday, September 24, 2015 at 1:00pm with reception to follow at Events at Sunset.
