Barbara passed away peacefully and was promoted to Angel on September 25, 2015.

She was born March 11, 1933 in  the quiet town of Toppenish, Washington. She was the daughter to Delmar & Esther Ingalls. She was raised in the quiet town with her family & siblings, Arthur & Myrna. It is there that she met her husband George Chandler. They married and relocated to Seattle to begin their life.

She resided in several places in the state of Washington. The Puget Sound area, Forks, Port Townsend was a few and then retired in the Tri Cities. She enjoyed camping on the Olympic Peninsula, having fresh seafood around the campfire. She thought the beauty of Port Townsend was breath taking and the town warmed her heart. After retiring they lived at Horn Rapids Golf course, they took advantage of the golf & enjoyed their beautiful view from their home!!

She always had busy hands…. She was “crafty”… she knit sweaters, blankets, needle point , painting, crocheting & puzzles. She was an avid reader. A book was always close by. She was always gifting all her family things that she had made. Today, everyone's home is sprinkled with things she made with her loving hands. Cooking was a huge passion; she owned more cookbooks than anyone we know!!! Nothing made her happier than to cook for her family.

She worked in the service industry. Over the years she had many close fulfilling relationships with the people she worked with. She was always a “mom “figure to all, offering advice, love and support to all that knew her. Her work ethics were a reflection of a time where work ethics were solid, important & meant always trying to achieve your best.

She attended Word of Faith Center church.  She was inspired by her church family and encouraged by the words spoken there.

She leaves behind a legacy of love… Her children are George, Kristeen, Camie, Beth and Deanna. Grandchildren are George IV, Nicole, Shane, Ryan, Karlene, Karis, Dalton & Dillon. Great grandchildren are… Taylor, Nevaeh, Timber, Neva, Chandler & Reese.

In each one of our hearts we hold special memories. Ones that will make us smile and help mend our hearts. We love you mom.
