Geraldine “Jerry” McDonnell was born December 5, 1925, outside of Butte, Montana. She was the youngest child of Angelo and Lucy Maffei. Jerry grew up there and after high school graduation, she attended St. Mary’s College in Leavenworth, Kansas. She then moved to the Tri-Cities to work the project and hospital. While participating in CYO activities, she met Richard “Mack” McDonnell. They were married in 1955. After moving to California their daughter Kathleen was born. After many years in North Carolina, Jerry and Mack returned to Richland to re-establish acquaintances with family and friends. Mack died in 2009. Jerry enjoyed bowling, golf and bridge. She leaves behind daughter Kathy of Knightdale, North Carolina and many wonderful relatives.

Services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at Christ the King. A graveside will follow the service at Sunset Memorial Gardens at 12:00 p.m.
