In loving memory of Jackie S. Cross.

Jackie, 72, of Richland passed away at Kadlec Regional Medical Center on January 13th.  She was born in Tacoma, Washington on September 18, 1943, and lived most of her life in Richland, Washington.  She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Ethel Sheard; and two brothers, Bruce and George Jr.  Jackie is survived by her two children, Sherri Garrett (Al) and Scott Cross (Tami); her grandchildren, D’Lana and Andrew Cross; her sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Roy Gunter; her two nieces Michelle Peterson (Loren) and Janelle (Shane) Thorson; two grand-nieces Kayla Peterson and Chloe Thorson; and grand-nephew Kyle Peterson.

Jackie graduated from Columbia (Richland) High School in 1961 and enjoyed regular lunch dates with her high school friends.  She also enjoyed going to the movies, diet Coke, Starbucks coffee, Zip’s hamburgers, and all forms of chocolate.

A graveside service will be held at Sunset Gardens, Richland, Washington, on January 21^st at 4pm.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Jackie’s name to Mid-Columbia Meals on Wheels.
