Doris Lucille (Daub) Schauss

Doris passed away peacefully at home with loved ones near her side. Doris was born in Mandan, ND on March 20, 1925 to Mary and William Daub. She was the oldest of four children including 2 brothers, Rodger and James and one sister, Gayle Kellar.

Doris received her degree in cosmetology and opened her own beauty shop inside the Lewis Hotel in Mandan, ND when she was only 17. She married Paul O. Schauss in 1949 and moved to the Tri-Cities shortly after beginning a career for 50 years as a representative for Avon, it became her passion.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Paul; infant son, Harlan Lee; brother, Roger (Gladys) Daub; sister, Gayle Kellar and infant grandson, Forrest Lee.

Doris is survived by her sons, Myron (Kimberly); grandsons: Paul Jackson and Mason Allen Schauss and her brother, James (Mary Jo) Kellar.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00am today, March 22, 2016 in the Chapel at Christ the King Church followed by an inurnment at 2:00pm at Riverview Cemetery on 10^th and Olympia in Kennewick.
