Mary Nell Dellinger

12/30/29 – 2/14/16

Mary Nell Dellinger at the age of 86 years old, passed away peacefully into the arms of our Lord and Savior on February 14, 2016 in Walnut Creek, CA.

Mary Nell was the daughter of Doc and Abby Cleveland and sister to James Cleveland.

She was married to Gene Dellinger for 50 years and had 4 children. She is survived by her oldest son, Jerry and his wife Teresa whom reside in Brentwood, CA; her second son, Jimmy Dellinger and his wife Barbara whom reside in Clayton, NM and her daughter, Patricia Sanders whom resides in Richland, Washington. Priscilla Dellinger, twin to Patricia, died at birth.

Mary Nell was a grandmother of 9 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Mary Nell was born in Amistad, New Mexico on December 30, 1929. She graduated from Clayton High School. She was the generation of a loving, caring and hardworking people. She never shirked a task and the teachings of her life’s wisdom touched the minds and hearts of many for generations to come. Her storytelling was a blessing to all and her long-term memory exemplified incredible truths about values forgotten. 

Mom, go rest high on that mountain…We’ll love you forever.

 A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 11:00am at Events at Sunset in Richland, WA.
