Charlene (Wilson) Webb
Charlene Webb, 72 of Richland passed away at home with the love of her life by her side on April 28, 2016 after a brief battle with cancer, she is no longer in pain.
She was born January 4, 1944 in Newport, OR and moved to Richland in 1945. She married Ron Wilson after graduating from Richland High in 1962. They had two wonderful children. Char was a beautician for 49 years and owned Nu-Look Hairstyling. She retired with her best friend Patsy Podesek while working at Lively Look. After being single for many years she began dating her life-long friend and soul mate, Gary Webb in 2003. They were married on April 19, 2013.
Charlene was a great friend to many in our community. She enjoyed quilting and sewing, whether it was a special gift for a friend or a Halloween costume for her grandchildren. Char loved reading, trying out new recipes and road trips with her husband, Gary. She was always happiest when surrounded by her family and loved ones. Charlene was selfless and kind with a heart of gold. Many times she would go without so others didn’t have to. She would do whatever it would take to make sure that her family and friends knew they were loved and cared for.
She is survived by her husband, Gary Webb; daughter, Ronda Muller (Eric); son, Shawn Wilson (Kathy); grandchildren: McKenzie Wilson, Katelyn Muller, Mitchell Muller, and Ronnie Wilson. Char is also survived by her sisters: Patti Underwood; Jan Greenough; brothers: Ken Goodenow, Larry Goodenow; sister-in-law, Bonnie Roe; stepsons: Denny Webb and Joey Webb and her step-grandchildren: Jason, Easton and Landon Webb; Riley and Lillie Johansen; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jake Goodenow and her mother, Rosemary Goodenow.
A Celebration of Life will be held June 4, 2016 at 500pm. Please contact the family for details.
We would like to give a special thank you to Dr. Sahota and staff for their compassion and support in her time of need.
