Mary Sue Seidel

Mary Sue Seidel, age 78, died peacefully on June 3, 2016. Mary Sue was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, the daughter of Clarence and Minnie Wilson.

Mary Sue graduated from Benton City High School in 1956.  After high school graduation, she attended WSU in Pullman for a short time which left a lasting impression on her. 

In June of 1960, Mary Sue married Quentin Seidel and moved to Richland where she lived for over 55 years.  She had her sons Greg and Jeff, and her daughter Suzan.  Early on Mary Sue stayed at home with her children.  Later on she worked in several different jobs and for various Hanford contractors, retiring in 1997.

Mary Sue was a longtime member of Christ the King Catholic Church.

Mary Sue is survived by her husband Quentin; sons Greg (Melanie) Seidel of Richland and Jeff (Julie) Seidel of Bothell; her daughter Suzan Gore of Richland and her grandchildren Gabrielle, Katie, Maddie, Nick and Amber.  She is also survived by her brother Steven Wilson and many cousins, nephews and nieces.  She also leaves behind numerous loving relatives and friends.

She was laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Gardens on June 6, 2016.  A memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2016, at 1:30 p.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church in Richland.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent in her name to Christ the King Catholic Church.
