Robert Wayne Bootsma was born Aug. 30^th, 1949 in Sunnyside, WA and passed away at his home in Kennewick, WA on June 20^th, 2016. He graduated from Granger High School in 1968.

Bob retired in 2014 from Fred Meyer, having worked as a meat cutter. He was a lifelong member of the Community of Christ Church. Predeceased by his mother, Betty, Bob is survived by his father Rex; sister, Deb Bee (Bill) Gordon; his children,  Dan (Amie), Skyy Lynn, Sara, Tyler (Sonni) and seven grandchildren; in addition to his numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Bob’s life will be held at the Community of Christ Church, 1004 Long Ave. Richland, WA on Saturday, July 2^nd 2016 at 1pm.  A reception will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, if you wish, please send memorial donations to Outreach International in his honor.
