WILBERTA “BILLIE” EVERHAM

Billie’s life ended on July 1^st, 2016 at Life Care Center in Richland, WA at the age of 96. She passed peacefully from recent illness with all 3 of her children by her side.

Billie was born to Marquette and Vera Schubert on September 17^th, 1919 in Umapine, Oregon. She attended schools in Umapine and Walla Walla and graduated from Cleveland High School in Seattle, WA. She married Thomas Everham in 1940 and raised their four children, Thomas ‘Pat’ (Donna) Everham; Janice (Jerry) Hall; Ronald (Fran) Everham, and Richard Everham (deceased). They were blessed with 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Spending most of her years as a wonderful housewife and mother, Billie entered into the game of golf in her later years, joining her lady friends at ShamNaPum g.c. and later Horn Rapids g.c. She enjoyed her golf into her middle 80’s. Her other joys were following her family in whatever pursuits they were involved in and following her Pro golfer husband, Tom, to his many golf adventures and tournaments.

Her last residences were Brookedale Assisted Living, and then recently the Richland Life Care Center. We want to thank all of her caregivers for making her feel like family and helping her enjoy these last years of her life. We are so grateful to you.

No funeral service is planned per Mom’s request. The family will gather later in July to celebrate her life. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Richland.

Mom’s favorite charity was Seattle Children’s Hospital Foundation in memory of her youngest son, Richard Everham. The address is: Mail Stop S-200, P.O. Box 5371, Seattle, WA 98145-5005.
