Elmer Van Wagoner came into this world on August 7, 1934 in Wapato, WA, and left our presence on August 27, 2016 as a resident of Benton City.  Van was the son of Leslie S. and Ella C. Van Wagoner.  He was preceded in death by brother Leslie G. Van Wagoner and is survived by his sister, Elaine M. Monlux (Richard (Dick)), and brother, S. R. (Reg) Van Wagoner (Juanita). 

Van took care of his first wife, Yvonne Gabner, at their home in Seattle until she passed away.  He remarried and is survived by Chanram Sangtongsee and has a step daughter Chantarath S. Kelly (Steve) and step son Jirawat Sangtongsee.

Van enlisted in the Air Force and later worked for and retired as a Teamster.

A public viewing of Van will be held Friday, September 2, 2016 from 10:00 to noon at Events at Sunset, 915 By-Pass Highway, Richland, WA.
