James “Jim” Millard Peters passed away peacefully at
Kadlec Regional Medical Center, August 17, 2016 at the age of 75 in the
presence of his loving wife and dear family friend.

James was born on December 16, 1940 in Denver, Colorado
to Howard and Ruby Peters. He graduated from Columbia High School, Richland in
1959. James served in the Army for 3 years and after his service became a
plumber for the Pasco School District. He worked at the school district until
he retired in 2004.

James loved sports and kids and was happiest when
spending time with family and friends. He also enjoyed coaching Little League,
basketball, and church softball teams.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years Kathy, daughter
Barbara Staten, son David Peters, brother Leonard Peters, grandson David
Peters, granddaughter Kati Staten and son-in-law Ernie Staten.

Funeral services will be held August 25, 2016, 11:00 a.m.
at the Richland Church of Christ, 933 Thayer Drive, Richland, WA. Viewing will
be held Wednesday August 24^th at 6pm to 8pm at Einan’s, 915 Bypass
Highway, Richland.
