Ruth Lorraine Klein, age 90, of Estherville, Iowa, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 4, 2016.  She was born September 23, 1925 to Harris (Tim) and Pearl Lines.  She was preceded in death by her former spouse, Walter Jacob Klein, and her son, Timothy Otto Klein.  Ruth lived in Tri-Cities for over 50 years.  Before moving here she cared for her family as a military officer’s wife living overseas as well as in several military bases.  Her grandchildren were the highlight of her life and she spent many years caring for them.  Always keeping her house tidy, she enjoyed serving those in her home.  She was generous with time, love, and Snickers.  She was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ and member of Reata Springs Baptist Church.  Ruth is survived by her two daughters, Jacqua Klein and Barbara Lotz; son-in-law William Lotz; granddaughters Lindsay Asmus (Joseph), Bethany Owens (Joseph and expected grandson), Kelsey Lotz; and two great-grandchildren.  A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 10:00 am at Sunset Gardens in Richland.
