ELIZABETH JOY JORDAN CLEMENT
Elizabeth Joy Jordan Clement was born on November 14, 1925 in East Ely, Nevada. She passed away on December 7, 2016 in Richland, Washington.
She graduated from North Sanpete High School in Mt.
Pleasant, Utah. She worked at the Kearns
Army Depot in the canteen and later at Remington Arms Plant in Salt Lake
City. She married Bud LaVon Clement on
June 26, 1946 and moved to Richland, Washington. In Richland she was employed by the Hanford
Telephone exchange and later worked for Shields Stationary in Richland.
She dedicated her life to being a wonderful wife and mother
and loved her family with all her heart.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held numerous positions in primary, Sunday school, Relief Society and as chorister, to name a few. She had a beautiful soprano voice and sang in the ward and stake choirs. She was a Daughter of the Utah Pioneers.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank Reed Jordan
and Mary Alice Arnoldson, brother Leland Frandsen; sister Rhea Frandsen
Leonard; grandson Aaron Clement; daughter-in-law Jeanne Horton Clement.
She is survived by her husband, Bud L. Clement; her children: LaVon (Kathie) Clement, Connie (Kent) Goodey, Terry (Sharon) Clement, Jay (Lisa) Clement and Virginia (Edward) Holman. She has 26 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren and also survived by her sister, FloEtta Bowers.
There will be a viewing at Events at Sunset, 915 By Pass Highway, Richland, WA from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, December 15, 2016. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 16, 2016 at 10:00 am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1720 Thayer Drive, Richland, WA. Interment will be in the Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery following the funeral service.
