Landon Carter Ostrowsky

On December 19, 2016, Landon passed away after a long week of fighting to recover from a stroke caused by blood clots in his brain.  His last week was spent in Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, surrounded by family and friends.

Landon was born in Portland, Oregon on February 4th, 2004.  He was the third of four children, and only son of Kristi and Daniel Ostrowsky.

Landon loved to learn and always asked questions.  He was loved by his family and all who knew him.  An avid Lego builder and minecraft player, Landon loved to create things, and nothing made him happier than when he was able to share those creations with others.  He attended Badger Elementary School and is remembered fondly by his teachers there.  He was currently attending Carmichael Middle School where he participated in the Yearbook and Gamers clubs.  He was active in scouting and church activities.

Landon touched the lives of many up until the very end, and pictures of him facing away from the camera are the only ones without his adorable smile.  Always eager to help, Landon was a Christmas miracle to many as he provided the gift of life to many in need of organ transplants.

He is survived by His sisters, Hannah, Mackenzie, and Kyrie; and his parents, Kristi and Dan.  

Services will begin at 1pm  Friday, December 23 at the LDS church at 895 Gage Boulevard in Richland, followed by burial at Sunset Gardens at around 3:15pm.
