Rich W. Gana, born November 18, 1951 in Richland, passed away December 3, 2016 at his home. Rich was raised and lived in the Richland area of his 65 young years.

He enjoyed baseball, football and music. Growing up Rich had a passion for music and he learned how to play the guitar and played in a band with his friends. Him and his friends also enjoyed working on cars and going to the car shows. Rich loved going to Montana and visiting Glacier National Park.

Rich married his best friend Marianne and adopted two children. They gave birth to their daughter Samantha making a new addition to their family. He was so excited when he had purchased his “dream car” a new corvette. He then became a grandfather to his granddaughter Prudence Loretta Gana, and she became the light of his life.

Rich work for BNSF Railroad for 35 years as at carman.

He is survived by his daughter, Samantha Rae; granddaughter, Prudence Gana; ex-wife, Marianne Gana; daughter, Jennifer Ward; son, Paul Gana; grandson, Stanley Ward; brothers: Don Gana, Bob Gana and Larry Gana; sister, Shelia Libby and many nieces and nephews.

Rich was preceded in death by his mom, Elaine Gana; Carl Hartz; grandparents; Wolford Hartz and his in-laws, Stanley & Loretta Griffin.
