Dottie Ross at the age of 83 went to be with her Lord with her family by her side, on January 25, 2017. She was born December 2, 1933 in Magdalena, NM, to her parents Fred and Josephine Ross.

She was a member of the community of the Tri Cities for 39 years and she never met a stranger. She made many friends over the years. Dottie worked for several different electrical contractors, at the Hanford site where she retired from.

Dottie enjoyed a variety of activities over the years. She loved traveling with her friend Aldie, decorating her patio with beautiful flowers, reading her bible, eating out, and chatting with all her doctors, caregivers and people she would run into at her favorite coffee spots. Dottie’s favorite greeting was “How you doin’ kiddo.” Dottie loved Jesus and was always praising Him. She was a loving and generous daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend.

She is survived by her sisters, Margaret Hooks of Richland, WA and Mary Knowles of Colorado Springs, CO; her niece, Jana Shumate of Richland, WA and numerous nieces, nephews, and many loving friends.

Dottie is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Fred Jr. and Leonard, and her sister,          Ila Mae.

A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday February 2, 2017 at 2:00PM at Einan’s at Sunset Chapel, 915 ByPass Hwy, Richland, WA.
