Marilyn Erstad, age 77, from Richland, Washington, died peacefully on March 21^st, 2017 at Kadlec Regional Medical Center after a prolonged illness. She was born on October 6^th, 1939 in Yakima, Washington, the only child of Eugene and Cleora Beeson.  Marilyn grew up and resided in Yakima most of her early life. She graduated from Davis High School in 1957. Marilyn married her first husband Jim Brant and together they had 3 children. They were divorced in 1967. She remarried Roy Havens and had 1 child with him. They divorced in 1977. Marilyn met Orville and they married in 1989. With this marriage 6 children were added to the family.  During her career she worked for many years in various clerical positions.  One of her proudest accomplishments was working with her husband Orville to develop their business.

Marilyn is survived by her husband, Orville Erstad; son, Patrick (Shawn) Brant and his wife Laura; daughters: Cathi Steiner, Sherri Boling and her husband Buddy, DeeDee Hoffer and her husband Gary; children by marriage: son, Michael Erstad and wife Rhonda; daughters: Ann Kincaid and husband Rick, Pamela Leavitt and husband Keith, Joni Moon and husband Walter, Mary Wright and partner Pat, Janelle Hunter and husband Richard.

Marilyn leaves several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Orville and Marilyn enjoyed traveling in their RV and spent their winters in Yuma, Arizona as snowbirds. She also loved spending time on the Oregon coast. She had many hobbies including quilting, shopping, crocheting, and diverse arts and crafts.  One of the important parts of her life was her pets. Marilyn was loved by her family and will be greatly missed.

There will be a viewing today, Friday, March 24^th  from 1:00pm-3:00pm at Einan’s at Sunset and a Memorial Service at 3:00pm, on Saturday, March 25^th at  Events at Sunset, 915 ByPass Hwy, Richland, WA.
