Rosalie Mary Genoni, age 98, passed away peacefully in Kennewick, WA, on March 22, 2017. She was born August 30, 1918, in Granum, Alberta, Canada. In her youth she lived in both Klamath Falls, OR and Spokane, WA. From 1937-1940, Rosalie trained at Mary’s Help Hospital in San Francisco to become a registered nurse.

In 1944, Rosalie joined the Army to serve as a nurse in World War II. She was a 2^nd Lieutenant.In 1946, she married Joseph Genoni and became a homemaker.  She was a long-time resident of Livermore, CA, until 2004, when she moved to Kennewick to be with her family.

Rosalie was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; son, Richard; brother- and sister-in-law, Frank and Gloria; and her parents and siblings. She is survived by her daughter, Jolene Broz (Ralph); granddaughter, Shannon Malisani (Paul); grandsons, John, Mike, and Greg Genoni; great-grandson, Nicholas Malisani; brother- and sister-in-law, Don and Madeline Scullion; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation and Rosary will be at Callaghan Mortuary in Livermore at 6 and 7 p.m., respectively, on Tuesday, April 4, 2017. Memorial Mass will be held at St. Michael Catholic Church in Livermore at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 5, 2017, followed by burial at St. Michael Catholic Cemetery in Livermore.
