Jayna Marie Disney, born December 31, 1978, was an artist. She was a seamstress, a painter, and a jeweler. Her creative spirit never wavered. She was the first born to parents John and Mary Disney, a much-awaited New Year’s gift.

Growing up, her skills progressed from fashioning Jayna Original Barbie doll dresses to everything from dog costumes to formal dresses. (She always complained it was a travesty that she could not make shoes.) She owned her own business – Jayna’s Closet – which captured all of her talents. Whatever it was, Jayna could make it.

Her movie and music shelves were as well stocked as her fabric supply. Her favorite movie was Dog Fight and her favorite performing artist was Sarah McLachlan. In the home she was also a force in the kitchen, a quality host, and a slayer at video games.

Jayna passed away on April 25, 2017. She is preceded in death by her father and survived by her mother and sister. Jayna was a friend to many and her sense of humor and artwork will be missed by all. There will be no service and the family asks that no flowers be sent, only jokes and fond memories.
