Kyle Ray Roberson was born in Houston, Texas January 22, 1953.  Kyle chose to blaze trails; he built his first computer in 1975, and then obtained a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from Rice University, researched technologies for energy, followed by mainframe computers in Silicon Valley, and arrived at Hanford in 1990 to help in the cleanup. Releasing his entrepreneurial aspect in 1995, he started Cirque Brewery, and then proceeded to start three new businesses in the area to help give other people their start. In 2015, Kyle allowed himself to follow a dream and learned to soar in a sailplane.  He was very happy the morning of his last flight, May 26, 2017.  He loved, and is loved, by his wife of 43 years, Kaye Christensen Roberson, two sons, Stellan Random Roberson, Brandon Race Roberson, Ph.D. and three grandsons by Stellan and Sarah Elizabeth Schwartz: Caden Row Roberson, Gunnar Revel Roberson and Tharin Rhys Roberson.
