Albert Pent Yale (Jack A. Yale) 

Jack, 84, of Kennewick passed away on June 6, 2017 at Three Rivers Retirement Center in Kennewick. He was born in Helena, Arkansas on September 1, 1932 to Colon and Irene Paith Yale.

Jack’s father died in an accident and left his wife to raise 8 children. It was a difficult time for all as they had to be self-sufficient at a young age while their mother tried to find income for the family.

Jack made it through high school with the help of his girlfriend, Peggy. They worked at a gas station and enjoyed doing vehicle repair. Jack became interested in construction and electronics. He became a father early on in their marriage and decided to further his education in electronics.

Jack became very accomplished in his electrical abilities and received an award from the Department of Labor Union. Needless to say, he then joined the union and traveled as a High-Voltage/High-Line Electrician. Jack retired from Bonneville Power.

He still had a love for working on and repairing cars. His interests grew in antique models so he began collecting them. Over the years he became highly regarded for his extended knowledge.  Members of the “Ye Old Antique Car Club” of the Tri-Cities knew him very well.

Jack is survived by his three daughters: Karen, Teresa and Kathy. He is also survived by his brother, Don Yale; his grandchildren: Jenelle, Shaunna, Amber, Tawny, Crystal and Sarah.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Peggy Louise Personett Yale; grandson, Kyle Canny; brothers: Andrew, Robert and William (Bill) Yale; sisters: Doris Casillas and Anne Dawson.
