Judy Song (Knight) Armstrong

Judy Song Armstrong, 67, passed away June 13, 2017 in her home. She was born March 15, 1950 in Nam Hae, South Korea. She came to the United States in 1972 and has lived in the Tri-Cities since. Judy obtained U.S, citizenship in 1985, a proud moment.

Judy was a seamstress for Chong’s Tailors and a homemaker. In 1997 she opened her own tailoring business, JK Alterations, which she operated until 2007. She enjoyed gardening and tending to her house plants.

In 2012, she began to exhibit signs of dementia and was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. Throughout her ordeal she remained cheerful and upbeat. Always a pleasure to be around, she will be missed by all of us.

Judy is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and two sisters. She is survived by her husband Dennis Armstrong, son Joseph Knight, daughter Kim Knight, grandson Alec Knight, and sisters Song Pun Yap and Song Yung Ja of Jeju, South Korea.

A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00pm June 26, at Einan’s at Sunset Gardens.
