Arlene Larue DeJong went to be with her Lord August 7, 2017. She was born in Northeastern Iowa on November 11, 1928. She married Bob DeJong in 1947 and they had two children, a son Hal and a daughter Candace. Her husband's job took them to the East Coast, back to the Midwest, and then to the West Coast.

         Arlene was a member of the Junior League of America where she did volunteer work including work for the Red Cross. She retired from Bank of America World Headquarters in San Francisco where she enjoyed meeting dignitaries from around the world. A year later she and Bob moved to San Diego to enjoy golf and taking their grandchildren fishing.

         In 1994, they move to Kennewick, Washington to be near family. After her husband's death in 2001, she settled in at Charbonneau where she enjoyed playing cards with her friends.

          Arlene is survived by her son Hal DeJong and his wife Pat, her daughter Candace Brandstetter and her husband Jon, her grandchildren Scott, Jason, Jeremy and Joanna and she delighted in her 6 great grandchildren.
