Pamela Roberts

Our mother, Pamela (Walker) Roberts, was called early to join the kingdom of heaven. She passed away Monday, April 23rd in Kennewick. Her children wish to honor her by gathering her family and friends for a potluck from 2:00 – 5:00 on Tuesday May 1st at the Richland Yacht Club (350 Columbia Point Drive Richland, WA 99352)

Please join her children to share an afternoon remembering a woman who touched many in this community as a lifelong resident of the Tri-Cities, one who was eager to connect with people. Mom loved a gathering of friends over food. She loved sharing stories over time with the people she considered friends no matter how long or short their relationship.

We look forward to visiting and sharing a meal with those who can attend.

Pamela Ann (Walker) Roberts was born to Palmer and Martha Walker on September 26, 1953 in Pasco, WA.  She was raised in Kennewick, WA spending her life in the Tri-Cities.  Pam passed away on April 23rd, 2018 at Trios Southridge Hospital surrounded by family who were fortunate to be with her.

Pam was raised with close ties to her family in Tennessee, visiting most summers where the family would travel by train.  These Southern roots were deeply engrained in her, often quoting her grandmother’s southern sayings.

A social butterfly, she loved being with friends and family or talking to strangers wherever she was.  Frequently hosting parties and game nights, she would invite friends into her home for a meal, a drink, or a long conversation.  A great event planner, she organized wonderful annual events for employees at Hanford.  Hundreds enjoyed her spring barrel wine tasting bus tours, pancake feeds, Easter egg hunts and Christmas parties.  Pam also stayed close to her Kennewick High Class ’71 classmates through the years assisting in planning class reunions.  Relationships meant a great deal to her, she cherished her friendships.

Pam absolutely loved her children and grandchildren.  Each were a point of pride and happiness that she would boast to friends and strangers alike.  Her dedication to her children lives on by each of them placing high importance of being active and loving parts of their children’s’ lives, a quality taught to them by her.

Pam is survived by her three children and six grandchildren - Eric Webb (Angela Loera) (Mateo and Roman Webb), Rebecca Roberts (Taylor, Alyssa, Payton Roberts), Brian Roberts (Kylee Roberts) brother Bill Walker and all of the friends she made in her life.

Mom, you were a generous, giving and loving woman, we love you.
