On Friday, August 10, 2018, Linda Sue Lyons, loving wife and mother of four children, passed away at the age of 72. Linda was born on May 27, 1946 in Richland, Washington, to Virgil and Ruby Nelson. 

She married Danny Allan Lyons on January 11, 1982. They raised one daughter and three sons. Linda and Dan worked together as owners of numerous successful business ventures over their 36 years of marriage. Linda was devoted to her church and her family and friends. She skillfully used the kitchen to create community and harmony around meals. Her passions included flight. Linda was a licensed pilot who owned her own airplane and especially loved flying the family to Sun River, Oregon. 

Linda was preceded in death by her father, Virgil, and her mother, Ruby. She is survived by her husband Dan, and their four children, Jana, Danny, Chris, and Lance, her sisters Delores and Lois, several grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and her beloved dog, Mace.

A funeral service will be held at the Richland Baptist Church at 1632 George Washington Way, on Thursday, August 16, at 2 o’clock. Flowers or donations may be sent to Einan’s at Sunset Gardens Funeral Home, 915 By Pass Highway, Richland, WA 99352.
