Jim has many Clerget cousins and Vormestrand cousins that he leaves behind.

Jim attended Pasco schools and graduated with honors from Pasco High School in 1966.  He then went to the University of Washington on an ROTC scholarship.  He graduated from the University of Washington in 1970 with a degree in French.  He was commissioned in the US Marine Corp on June 13, 1970.  A week later he married Judy Lord on June 20, 1970 in Pasco, Wa.

Jim and Judy began their marriage in Quantico, Virginia.  After six months they moved to NAS Pensacola, Florida for flight training.  The next move was to El Toro Maine Air Station as a Radar Watch Officer.   They lived in Tustin, California for the next few years.  The next move for Jim was to Japan, and Judy moved back to Pasco to be near his family.  Jim returned to Pasco as a Captain in the Marine Corps in 1975, and left the Marine Corps at that time.

Family time came next and Jim and Judy were blessed with twins, Jim and Jill in November 1975.

Jim next went back to school at Central and graduated with a degree in business.

Jim then went to work for Battelle (PNNL), and worked there for over 30 years.  While working at Battelle, Jim earned his MBA from Washington State University.

Jim made many friends (God Bless You All) while working at PNNL and was a business manager for National Security Directorate at the time he retired in December, 2013.

Jim loved his family and was introduced to Grandparent Love in August 1999 with the birth of James Edward Sall, IV.  James was happily followed by Noah Donald Thomas Sall in May 2004.  What great joy grandchildren provide.

We will miss Jim’s fabulous wit and brilliant mind.  He was our own personal Google.  Judy could always rely on Jim to know everything.

Jim’s memorial will be held at Einan’s at Sunset Funeral Home in the Chapel (915 By Pass Highway in Richland, Washington).  The date of the service is October 4, 2018 at 2:00 PM
