It is with great sadness to inform Risto Bozic (79), of Richland, passed away September 4, 2018 at Trios Hospital.                                                                                                                                                                      

Risto was born in Sarajevo, Bosnia, July 25, 1939. He was one of six children. Risto moved to the United States August 21, 1996, and started all over again. During these years Risto worked as janitor for a variety of local companies. He retired in 2015 due to medical issues.                                                                        

He loved life, get togethers and giving advice to friends and family. His passions included tennis and soccer.                                                                                                                                                                            

Risto is survived by his wife Ester of 46 years, son Momcilo (Michelle), daughter Nina (Nenad) and granddaughter Sara, and many nieces nephews and their families (Eres, Bozic, Kiss, Mihalj, Krstic).
Risto was preceded in death by all of his siblings.                                                                                               

The family would like to extend gratitude towards great friends that became our new family, for all the support, visits and help during his life and his heroic journey of the past 3 years. Especially to family Tubic, Stankovic, Ginovski, Lalic, Smith, and Mirc for everything you did for Risto. Thank you to many doctors and nursing staff at Kadlec (Dr. Dae Lee, Dr. Jamali Iyad, Dr. Foss) and at Trios (Dr. Fora, Dr. Khawandi) for believing in him and his will to live, caring for him, and helping him getting these extra years. Thank you to his caretakers Tanja and Jessica.

Memorial service will be held at 12:00 pm, September 8th 2018 at Einan’s Event Center in Richland. Placement of Risto's remains will be done after memorial service and reception will follow at Bozic home.
