Clarice Ann Whipple (Whiteley, Moore)                                                                                                           July 26, 1928 - October 22, 2018 

Clarice Ann Moore, 90, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2018 with her daughter Diana and son-in-law Jim by her side.

Clarice was born July 26, 1928, to Dewey C. Whipple and Aslaug Mohn Whipple in Dayton, Washington.  Clarice was the second of three girls.

On February 14, 1947 Clarice married Darrell G. Whiteley, together they had one daughter Diana.  While they were married they lived in Washington, Oregon, California and Nevada, that marriage ended in divorce.

Clarice and Diana then moved to Yakima, Washington to be close to family.  While there, she met and married Lyle F. Moore on May 11, 1964.  They lived in the Lower Valley until Lyle's passing.  She then moved to Richland to be near her daughter and family.  She lived in Richland for 17 years until her death. 

Clarice had 6 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.  She loved her family and was always asking about them.  She loved animals, but especially dogs.  She loved making people laugh, and loved to entertain people.  She never met a stranger she didn't love to talk to. 

Clarice loved old westerns on T.V., people watching, making new friends at the grocery store, and just making others smile. 

Clarice is preceded in death by her parents Dewey and Aslaug, her husband Lyle, sisters Nancy and Janice, and one great granddaughter Angelina.

Her family would like to thank Hospice Chaplaincy for their loving care in her final days.

We will miss her everyday - God be with you till we meet again. 

Graveside Service will be held on Friday, October 26, 2018, at 11:00am, at Sunset Gardens, 915 ByPass Hwy in Richland, Washington.
