Frances I. Everham our loving wife, mother, nona, sister, aunt and friend passed away at her home in Richland on October 15, 2018. Fran was born in Welland Ontario, Canada on January 28, 1951 to Frank D. and Elizabeth (Lee) Simon. She is preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Maribeth Simon. Fran is survived by her husband, Ron Everham; daughter, Erica Barclay; brothers, Anthony J. Simon (Mary) and John J. Simon (Kathy); grandson, Carter J. Barclay; nephews, Anthony J. (Tony) Simon and Kurtis A. Brogoitti; nieces, Holly Nixon and Amanda Simon Dewebber. 

Fran graduated from HS in Titusville, Florida. She made her way to the State of Washington with her parents, settling in Richland in 1972. Fran became interested in the legal field and worked for over twenty years as a Paralegal. Fran was a dedicated advocate for her clients, representing them in court. She was well liked and respected in the legal community. She had a vivacious personality and a sense of humor that could bring a smile to anyone’s face.

Fran was an avid sports fan and very knowledgeable about teams and players; some of her favorites being Notre Dame, Dodgers, Seahawks, Mariners and her most favorite watching Ron play in golfing tournaments and grandson Carter playing soccer. She was also known for her Nordstrom & online shopping and antiquing. Family and Friends will miss her knitted washcloths.

Fran met her husband Ron through a friend, Eddie Hoff in Richland and were married in June of 1992 in the Amacker’s backyard amongst family and friends. They often would travel around the Pacific Northwest golfing and antiquing, also traveling to Hawaii and Florida for golfing vacations and beach combing.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice. Fran’s final resting place will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will be having a reception at the Country Gentleman Restaurant on Clearwater Ave. in Kennewick, WA on November 10, 2018 from 1:30pm to 3:30pm to celebrate her fabulous life. Please come casual as Fran would of liked that, and don’t forget to bring your favorite story or moments to share.
